We are camping at Huntington Beach, CA, while waiting for Lynn’s dental appointment in Garden Grove, CA, about 8 miles east of here.  This is a beautiful camping place right on the beach with Santa Catalina Island off shore on a clear day and a few oil well platforms, if the haze relents.

The last time we were here two whales breached right along the coast.  We went out on the pier and watched them pass by.  It was amazing.  Don’t know what we will see this time.

Here is a late afternoon photo of the beach and the Huntington Beach Pier.  It has a really nice restaurant at the end.  It is nice to grab a cup of coffee in the morning and walk out and watch the sun rise.

The movie below shows our RV parked in the parking lot camping area with me walking toward the RV and then it swings around to the beach.  What a beautiful site to see!
