Lynn and I finally went downtown (the strip) after being here over two weeks. We are working on some real estate deals and are just too busy. Anyway, it was our 47th wedding anniversary and we decided to step out. We went to the Wynn Casino at The Lake Steakhouse where the cute greeter took this photo just before we sat down. I had a nice Rib Eye and Lynn has a very nice bowl of Clam Chowder and a Vegetarian Pasta.

After supper we were presented with an nice desert: four Truffle balls, two black and two white. I thought they were little ice cream balls and I couldn’t figure out how to eat them so I asked for two spoons. When I pocked at them with the spoon I found out the were hard candy. So I picked them up and had two of them. Later, I laughed and told the waiter I thought they were ice cream and we needed a spoon which they hadn’t brought. The waiter laughed and said he and his helper discussed why we wanted a spoon for the hard candy but finally said “if they want a spoon, give them a spoon.” Of course, at this type of restaurant they brought the spoons on a silver tray with a very fine cloth trim. Hmmmm. You can tell I am a country boy. Lynn just shook her head! Here is Lynn with one of the truffles left on the very nicely done plate.

Finally, here are two photos of Lynn: overlooking the strip on the overpass between the Wynn and the very expensive shopping center across the street. Luckily she was “tired” so didn’t spend much mon … time there.
